    If this guy won't to get payed, it will be canada, there is no way HBO or SHowtime are going to put up big money for this guy

    Well, he is usually more exciting than he was tonight.

    He's also the champion, and if either of those networks wanted to make an investment in Pascal they'd want to showcase the night he takes the WBA belt.

    I had rather high hopes for Beibut but he does not appear to be improving much, at least now applying it on fight night. He will not be able to defend against guys like Uzelkov, Joppy and Santiago forever...

    Right now we get Lonnie Smith vs. Eduardo Arcos, 8 rounds @ super featherweight.

    Decent records, both with over a dozen wins and a combined 6 losses (mostly to prospects)

    W over Uzelkov is a legit defense at 175. Legit defenses aren't exactly commonplace these days.

    It will be canada TV and a massive crowd in canada that will bring the money, HBO and SHowtime will give him Cloud before this guy. Cloud has been on premium cable and performed. pascal v cloud is a much better fight for HBO and Showtime

    Oh they'd pick the fight up....in montreal...with pascal getting the lion's share of the pures. The fight could happen in Las Vagas but only as a b-side to a bigger fight HBO PPV or something like that. Otherwise there's no money it in being anywhere else but Canada.

    Both guys are throwing fast shots at point blank, completely eschewing defense and just wailing away! Smith is a bit sharper. Arcos might have heavier hands. Smith starts to walk him back with a jab. Arcos lands a big power shot, curling an overhand right flush into Smith's chin. Smith takes a few more bombs before getting his bearings and planting his own hard counter on Arcos' chin! Now Smith is defending a bit more carefully but still coming forward to meet Arcos in a phonebooth. They pause and Smith's corner pours bottled water in his mouth. Maybe I missed something there? Glove tape being replaced? Mouthpiece? Since when can a ref allow hydration mid-round?? :blood WTF Cortez?
