You only need to look at the character of Green to know that he'll do anything to get an advantage to 'bash' someone. Jones hasn't claimed anything like that with any of his other losses, and there was talk that it was settled out of court which wouldn't happen if there was nothing to the accusations. Green has lied plenty of times before, Jones has always been shown to be a straight up guy.
If gloves were designed by Green to have less padding for the Tarver fight even after the Jones incident it shows that even when he has the spotlight on him he's trying to gain an advantage, he's a scumbag and I wouldn't put anything past him. The fact that this is the second time that we know of him allegedly trying to create an unlevel playing field shows that it's likely there is something to it.
Green has historically tried to bully/threaten anybody who doesn't comply with him, he has money behind him so just because a couple of people in NSW cleared his wraps it doesn't mean ****, also I've never heard of anybody who is dishonest in the boxing game :roll:

 

Yeah Roy was always a very straight up guy... Apart from that time he got caught juicing. Read the article. The gloves didn't have a "Grant" logo on them. Storm in a tea cup.

 

Thats really great lefty, "there was talk" now equals facts, **** me. I was there when all the fuss happened over the gloves after the weigh in and if anyone was trying to gain the upper hand it was Tarver. As it was, there was nothing in it, just like the crap over Greens wraps in the Jones Jr fight, why not look up the pictures I posted of Jones wraps from the same fight?

How come he wasn't fined or banned or anything? Why did he suddenly decide to juice for one fight against the beast that was Richard Hall? Hall also tested positive in that fight for a banned substance, Jones claimed his result was due to taking the supplement ripped fuel. The IBF didn't have a problem with that explanation so I'd like to know what you know that they don't...

 

I'm not going to pretend that I know the ins and outs of hand wraps for pro fights but what I'm saying is that Greens character combined with more than one person claiming that he's tried to bend the playing field in his favour when it comes to gloves/wraps shows that there is likely something behind it. I've never mentioned 'facts'.

 

The officials had no problem with Greens wraps or gloves which is a fact but now here you are stil trying to go on about it but sticking up for Roys juicing...hypocrite comes to mind :good

Roy juicing?...... How is taking ripped fuel which has a herb in it that shows up as ephedrine juicing? The only people who believe Roy juiced are Internet idiots. If Roy Jones and Buddy McGirt say something is true it has a bit more weight to it.

 

I mean less padding? 10oz is 10oz. Some gloves have less padding over fist. Grant gloves I hear are pretty well padded over fist.

 

Your own words, why wasn't Roy banned so to you it's a non issue...so same applies to Green why wasn't he banned ?

I dont understand or I'm missing somethibg, greens gloves had the green logo on them? The gloves were the same for both fighters?? So Danny and tarver both had the same gloves didn't they?? What's the issue?

 

There isn't an issue thats the thing, but apparently to some Green now makes his gloves in his back yard and gave the wrong set to Tarver

 

RJJ could've been on PEDs or Ripped Fuel. We'll never know unless some hard evidence comes out.

The fact is Roy had juice in his system that was a banned substance.

Funny how Roy went from being Superman to shot at exactly the same time BALCO broke.

 

We know that RJJ tested positive for ephedrine, RJJ claimed he had taken Ripped Fuel. Ripped Fuel contains the extract ma huang which shows up as ephedrine. Obviously the levels were low and the reason was accepted by the IBF. No ban or fine.
Since when has Roy had anything to do with Balco? You obviously have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to performance enhancing substances, I find it funny that all these ******ed boxing fans think you can take a magical substance that makes you superman when you're on it and completely shot when you're not on it.
