i think if a young bowe was fighting today the only man to give him a fight would be vitaliy who would still lose imo. i dont think he gets the credit he deserves as a great heavyweight. in my opinion he would be listed along with tyson an lewis as the best heavyweights in the past 30 years and go down as an atg. what are everyone else's opinions on him and who do you think could have beat him if any? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Kim2nTQI13E

Bowe shouldn't be mentioned anywhere near Tyson or Lewis. He disgracefully ducked Lewis and dropped his title to avoid him. Best win is an impressive one over Holyfield, but lost the rematch when Holyfield fought smart and beat a sick man in the 3rd, who may have finished him if not for the condition. He got thrashed by Golota (who Tyson & Lewis destroyed in 2 and 1 rounds respectively) and arguebly got outboxed by Tubbs (who Tyson destroyed in 2). His resume is razor thin outside of the Holyfield wins.

He was an outstanding fighter, but not a great fighter like Tyson and Lewis.

He'd slam dunk his title int he bin rather than facing the Klitschkos. He'd fight Adamek though.

Bowe would have beaten one of the Klitschko's but after that, he declines big time. Doesnt matter how good he his, his mentality will always be his downfall regardless in which era he fights in

Perhaps most gifted super HW brawler with shortest prime and crazy appetite for sugar & fat.

I think that from 92-95 Bowe could beat any heavyweight. So if we are talking about that Bowe than yes he'd domante.

Vitali would have murdered him, and Wlad would probably win 19 if they fought 20 times.

Bowe would probably number 3 as it is at present but with a lot of v.talented fighters on the way up [Fury; Helenius; Price; Boytsov] that would probably not last for long.
