Why do people bring up Chagaev? The guy was never good to begin with, and he had trouble getting licensed due to some sickness.
Every now and then, I'm sure he would scrape into the top 10. However, he wouldn't be considered a consensus top 10 at the end of the decade.
atsch So you mean like what era ? because I seem to recall BIG GEORGE the legend getting dropped and retired by a guy just like BIRD !
Jack is starting to just become a delusional hater now. He began initially as a wlad fan who gave negative comments to counteract the fanatics but now he's just plain hating. To the thread, quite clearly byrd, unless you believe he lost to fres and golota. He fought a prime version of byrd in a fight that essentially decided who the best contender to lewis's throne was. He also fought byrd when he was best regarded which was the fight when wlad became the best heavyweight in the world.
Bull****. I've not mentioned Wlad in this thread, you just see what I've said as hating on him. But, yeah, I'm tired of ****, boring posters saying I'm biased against Wlad. If you think I have some ulterior motive, fine, but you're really looking into something that isn't there.
I'd say Byrd. Byrd is very underrated in my opinion, while he isn't a great fighter he is a damn good one, very difficult to fight, would make you look bad and was just so effective.
Your first post on this thread was about how laughable these names are. What kind of contribution to a thread is that? Why not simply offer your own opinion about the question at hand? I don't care what agenda you have, but the first comment on this thread by yourself reeks of hate and if you were objective you'd agree. I'm not a fan of wlad so I don't care what anyone thinks about him, his place in history is secure, I just get tired of seeing crappy posts that add nothing to a thread.
Tony Tucker is Tyson's best win. He was in his prime, had just knocked out Buster Douglas and looked like Muhammad Ali in the ring. It's a shame he became a dope addict after that.
