I don't like to predict the doom of young prospects, but I've watched this guys fights all morning and he's not as slick as advertised, guy has absolutely no inside game whatsoever.

Hopefully, HBO decides to get Takashi Uchiyama to USA!

I think of all the US hypejobs, Broner is the most likely to succeed right now.

Broner barely gets any hype. Shouldn't hypejobs actually get hyped up?

You must have taken a break from the boards after he whipped Jason "Egg" Litzau?

I think Broner is much more than a hype job.
Ponce is a tough opponent for anyone..... and he took Litzau out in 1.

Let's just wait and see what his ultimate fate is. I think he might be something special.

Very true. He's only 21 right now. He can still get a lot better.

    I agree.

HOwever, in his fight with Litzau he acted with alot of dignity.

He went over to Litzau's corner to make sure he was alright. And in his post fight interview he showed alot of class.

Hopefully he can shake that cockiness off, because he doesn't need it.
he's a better fighter than that.

He's turned 22, and he's got no inside game.

Jessie Vargas and Mikey Garcia are far more likely to succeed as professional fighters.

This is a boxing message board, every fight gets dissected and talked about a lot. You don't see many people on here still talking about Broner. Overall, he's gotten very little hype. It's not like Alvarez who's getting handed titles and treated like a superstar without beating anyone.

Broner catches too much crap for that fight with Ponce.

That was a close fight however anyone wants to cut it. I had Broner winning by 2 rounds.... but regardless.

He is very young and very few young/up and comers are walking through Ponce.

I bet you he whips Mikey's ass.
