    Shumenov doesn't suck.
He struggled with Campillo..... but who wouldn't?

I think Shumenov v Sillakh would be a damn good fight.
I think Sillakh would edge it, but it would be competitive.

Shumenov is a freak in that he maintains almost the same high output of work late as he puts in early.

Cleverly v Sillakh? Cleverly had one damn good fight with Murat and it's not his fault that Braehmer backed out. But still, he needs to fight better opposition. A fight with Bellew will do nothing for him at this point with respects to world ranking. He needs to fight a bigger name.

He was badly hurt by unprepared Kuziemski, a guy who signed down the contract in Thursday, then fight in Saturday. He is 21(5KO)-3.

    No, hes awful.
He really is. The guy has 0 technique. He just stands there and throws these ridiculous telegraphed punches. He can't box, hes not so good as an aggressor either. Hes just a pot shotter. That combo that he finished whathisname with last night, it was embarrassing.

Mark my words, this guy gets brutally beaten when he steps up. Hes a hype job and a bad one at that. You know me, I hate hype jobs.

Campillo has lost and been blown out before. He beat Shumenov in both of their fights IMO.

Note 'stylistically.' Cleverly has that awkward aggression. A guy with Sillakh's experience can be thrown off by something like that--he's used to the styles those guys bring as they're common amateur styles.

I think him and Cleverly at this point would be 50-50.

I want to see him take Shumenov apart. I think he would beat Pacal, Cleverly and Cloud too.

That might have the been case earlier in his career, but Shumenov has improved. He showed improved skill against Uzelkov and looked good last night. His style is wrong for a classic stand up boxer/puncher like Sillakh. Sillakh likes to fight from range and Shumenov wouldn't allow that. The reason Campillo was so tough is because his infighting defense is so good. That is a rare skill and Campillo has it. Sillakh is very skilled but he's a different type fighter.

I do like Sillakh to win a title at some point, give the kid three or four more fights first.

He's the goods and I'd pick him over Cleverly and Shumenov right now....might need to wait a bit before stepping up to Cloud/Pascal/Dawson level but will eventually be better than all the above.

Ain't no one ****ing with slick black Ukrainian fighters.
