No real interest in Peterson-Khan at this point. There's only one legit fight left for Amir at 140 which is obviously the Bradley fight.
Schaeffer said that a Khan/Morales fight is bigger than Khan/Bradley. So don't expect a fight with Bradley anytime soon.
I don't see a complete mismatch like you are. Khan has ALL the tools, but Peterson has a SOLID grill, and tons of HEART to come of the canvas like he did vs Ortiz(who has way more power than Khan). Peterson COULD beat Khan by just like he did last night vs Cayo. Khan is NOT the greatest bodypuncher, and Peterson could counter him with that R hand and KO Khan. Punchers chance for Peterson. Small, but there.
Of course he would say that -- and the truth is, a Khan-Morales fight would probably generate more interest and money than Khan-Bradley would. I tend to think though - that if Bradley straightens out his promotional situation and publicly makes himself available to fight Khan next - that Amir would jump at the chance to fight for the opportunity to become the undisputed #1 fighter in the division. He made it clear that he prioritizes such an opportunity over money in the concessions that he made during their last failed negotiation.
