Ruiz 1? I know it was a boring fight but imo that was a big bs win for Holyfield in which i thought Ruiz won the fight 10 rounds to 2. Ruiz was beating Holyfield to the punch so many damn times. Holyfield had his moment in round 3 when he Stunned Ruiz badly. But still Ruiz was dominating Holyfield in that first fight. Do many here agree Holyfield got a big gift win?

i had ruiz by a point in the first fight if i remember correctly. a lot of people had a problem with decision and i think a lot of it had to do with how bad holyfield looked.

By a point? :huh Hmm i don't know about that. Ruiz was far busier for many rounds while Holyfield was mostly like a zombie.

Cause most people didn't watch it and those who did went on shooting rampage after before hearing the scores.

Over the 3 fights it's fair to say the decisions evened out.

i didnt find the first fight all that boring

holyfield by the mid rounds looked tired and kind of effected maybe health wise like he just didnt seem right

ruiz would get inside and rough him up

    Holyfield had moments

I dont see how they gave it to holyfield

    You're absolutely correct.
Holyfield turned in a lackluster effort, was'nt busy, and Ruiz just outhustled him in fight one........

.....In fight 2 Holyfield physically better prepared clearly took most of the rounds. Ruiz however scored a late knockdown and had Holyfield in trouble late.
People are just not in the habit of scoring rounds, and so when Ruiz had that big round late, they were OK with him getting the decision. I though it was bogus, Holyfield won imo.
I'll add that in fight 2, Holyfield actually dropped Ruiz with a legit body shot during the fight that had Ruiz sprawling on the floor. He should have been counted out, but the ref ruled it a low blow, clearly it was not.

Fight 3 Holyfield clearly wins it and dominates and bloodies Ruiz late to boot......Don King arranges the draw.
So clear was this fight for Holyfield that John Ruiz clearly suprised, starts jumping up and down as if he had been announced the winner when the draw verdict scores were rendered.:lol::lol:

Holyfield won 2 of the 3 fights imo.

.......and I cant forget to note that Ruiz should have been disqualified in each of the fights for exessive holding.

I'm remembering how the HBO boxing team described that the holding and clinching was being instigated by both fighters.....absolutely ridiculous, clearly Ruiz' stategy was to get into a clinch for every two punches he threw (ridiculous).......
......Ruiz' subsequent fights after the Holyfield trilogy proved to everyone that it was him and him only that kept that whole Holyfield trilogy in a clinch.

Everyone of those Ruiz fights was an ugly mess of a clinchfest, and it just makes me mad that not a ****ing point was deducted from Ruiz for his non-fight clinchfest efforts.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

That cheater should have been disqualified for excessive holding. This was a win for Holyfield, period end of paragraph. For once, judges recognized that what Ruiz does isn't boxing, and isn't within the rules of this sport.

Keep it up cause i'll report you to have you banned. I'm talking about boxing in which relate anything about boxing. All you do when you reply to me is "who's that tranny?". For the last time she's not a tranny. I had 1 person banned. You want to be next in line since you keep bothering me about if my avatar is a tranny?

You can make a case with the holding but still Ruiz dominating Holyfield clearly for 10 rounds maybe less like 9 or 8 rounds. It was imo a big robbery.
