He is a bit sloppy and does need to tighten up (especially with his age, and obviously the fights have taken a toll on him). He won fights in the past with explosive punches, brute strength, etc and it didn't matter if he was sloppy. He's not overrated by any means. Of course he had plenty of flaws that could be exposed. Manny Pacquiao is P4P #1 boxer in the world, and has acheived more than anybody could have thought, BUT Pac has so many freakin flaws it's rediculous. The reason nobody can capitilize is because his strengths (speed, power, movement) make up for his flaws. Once he gets a little older as well he'll be somewhat exposed when he slows down. Fedor needs to tighten that **** up, and fight like a smart fighter if he plans to continue.

The phrase, "Michael Jordan of MMA" is becoming more arguable everyday. Even if he's supposedly past his prime, given his talent, he still should've beaten the smaller Hendo. Fedor at his best was a monster, no doubt. He is a sure fire Hall of Famer. I just don't think he's by far the best MMA fighter ever. Anderson Silva is older than him and is still fighting at an elite level and has a great chance to retire from the UFC without a loss. Guys like Silva and Hendo may not have as great of a resume as Fedor (yet) but their body of work is still solid and they are able to maintain world class level for long time. That said, they should be appreciated just as much as Fedor.
When did I say Fedor was never that good? Way to twist my words. I said he's overrated . There's a big difference. That doesn't mean I don't think he's a great fighter. People made him out to be invincible though . Clearly, he isn't. And it isn't just because he's older.
Well, while Fedor was the champion in Pride after beating a great fighter like Big Nog, Anderson was being dominated and choked out by cans like Takase. People peak at different ages, that's all.
