Foster would be too much for Monzon, he is a weight class above, bigger, rangier and more powerful.

Robby can't take Foster at 175......... Robby has the skills; Foster has the size, strength and power at 175....... Robby is game for 10 rds, but also behind.... Foster wears him down for the TKO in round 12..... IMO! Foster.........

I agree but when you look at Hopkins and have to say a bit of who knows, far more w Monzon than Marvin because of size ...

Agreed, a quarter live underdog. I actually think Toney at the right time would have as much chance as Hagler and Monzon, or better. Can't really see any winning. I find it hard picking barely any ATG 175's over Bob. The guy was a machine at 175.

Foster would destroy Monzon... Monzon was a truly great moddle, but tangling with Foster ?? Foster by brutal KO in the 6th. Foster was a monster at 175, his power would be a problem for almost all of the 175 lb greats. And any middleweight trying to take him on ? Bad news... Bob would keep that long jab on Monzon, then get to him and finish him, brutally...

Foster's mix of range, power, and speed would've been too much for Carlos. Bob stops him.

Foster would coldcock Carlos, too much for him at this weight. It wouldn't go beyond two rounds.

This fight all depends on how well Monzon ties up and uses his clinch skills against Foster. If he can nullify the big right hand, he's got a chance to win the fight. I'm not favouring his chances because Foster was naturally bigger and had the reach advantage. Aside from the fact he was one of the greatest light-heavies of all time.

i think this is a good strategy however imo he had more power in his left hook and he was adept at using it in close if necessary.
