    Not a big surprise here:

This fight has been shaping up for awhile, particularly because both fighters work for Top Rank.

Who knows, if Timothy Bradley stays hung up in his lawsuit with his former promoters, and Cotto doesn't take too much damage in the rematch with Margarito, maybe this is the next fight on Pacquiao's dance card (provided both he and Cotto win their next bouts)?

    :think

    Oh yeah.

All of Cotto's many fans will want to see it. And many Pacquiao fans will watch any fight he's in.

I would think this would be held in Madison Square Garden, to maximize the sales to the Puerto Rican fans in New York City.

    Does he need the money?

I can see it before me now... Cotto partying with a huge stack of $100 bills in his hands, 2 months later the IRS calls... oops

Cotto is a hell of a fighter. He won the 154 pound belt from Foreman and if he beats Margo, only Pacquiao remains for him to clear his old scores.

I would definitely watch it, but how would they hype this fight up??? The first one wasn't even close.

That could definitely happen. Margo isn't stepping aside for anyone.

Its definitely for the money. The same thing would happen again if they fought. Manny is all wrong for Cotto.

The way you sell the fight is that Cotto went and won another belt in a different division, he beat one old foe (Margo) and now he is looking for revenge against the only man he has never beaten.

The fight is sellable, as long as both Cotto and Pac win their next bouts. Cotto is an excellent draw.
