    There is no legacy that Mayweather Jr has surpassed becuase Srs career was cut short...
    When Lil Floyd decides to train fighters only then can we compare legacys.... but when it comes down to boxing itself, Sr never left anything other than the name but mostly that name was carried by Uncle Roger.... so how can we say Floyd passed his fathers legacy when his fathers career was cut short?:huh you cant...:hi:

    George Best was a master at women and booze.

    Yeah, good man. I was thinking exactly the same thing.

    If you're only going to pick genuine legends, and their sons, well, it's not only their sons that that don't outdo their legacy, it's virtually every fighter that has ever lived that won't surpass it.

    Thomas Hearns for example. Not only his son would have difficulty surpassing that career, but any welterweight from now for the next 100 years would struggle to do better.
