Ive watched all the pride and ufc's since the beginning my jumbles quick comment was not bs. fedor fought in a much lesser competitive league and would not have held the ufc belt for long at all if at all. couture would have crushed him with his greco wrestling if henderson can hold him on the fence couture would have man handled him and that is evident after last nigh. say what u want but physical ability does'nt start deteriorating until your 40 scientific fact. fedor fed on less trained fighters for years and arloski please hes was washed before and way after that.

First of all, from '03-'08 there wasn't a better HW. The UFC had Sylvia and Arlovski who Fedor handled and Couture who he would have handled because unlike Dan, Couture didn't have any sort of punching power nor did he have the required mandibular fortitude to get through the punches like Dan did.

Secondly, there's no sort of "scientific fact" regarding when the aging process begins because all humans age at a different rate depending on genetics and the wear and tear of life. Obviously a fighter who has taken severe cranial abuse is going to slow down a lot quicker than someone who's rarely been punished like Anderson Silva. B-Hop is still going strong at a world-class level at 46 whereas Morales was washed up and beaten down at 30. It's all relative.

I'm not one of his blind nuthuggers because I don't support any particular fighter and have no emotional investment in them. I do, however, call it like I see it and it's obvious that he was once the best HW in the game and more obvious that he no longer has it.

your right dominant champs get beat buy guys in lower weight classes moving up all the time in mma when there in there physical peak. maybe not mental peak but physical cant be denied when he weighed in at his lowest weight in years.

Chuck Liddell looked to be in the best shape of his life right before Franklin sparked him out with a jab. Defined muscles don't tell you **** about a fighter's current physical shape where it really matters because you can't see fast-twitch muscle fiber eroding nor can you see the reflexes which are the first to fail on an older fighter.

Fedor was basically the best when bar room brawling was one of the key ingredients.... The game is now professional and elite level fighters are dominant.
