Just watch Froch vs Kessler again. I still don't get it how did Kessler won 7 rounds

In That fight? In that time i hated Froch with a passion cause of his attitude but i was very honest of this fight and i thought Froch won the fight clearly 115-113. Froch landed more and threw more then Kessler did. And Kessler look more like a beating fighter then Froch. Before the fight alot of people thought Kessler would win cause he has the better jab and better skills, well Froch in that fight clearly out jab Kessler. Froch jab was basically bothering Kessler from mostly alot of rounds. Froch also hurt Kessler far more then Kessler hurt him. I just don't understand with some people here thinking Kessler really beat Froch.

 

Btw that fight was a great one.

 

Kessler landed more shots and was the agressor through the fight.

It was close but both were throwing a lot and missing quite badly. theyve looked better in their fights since but I think Kessler just about pulled it out of the bag and won it 115-113. Kessler showed better defence and head movement and counterpunched much better through out the fight whilst froch just took the punches to the face. That was the main difference in the fight

 

And yet Kessler was more busted up then Froch. atsch Froch landed more then Kessler in that fight. Froch landed harder shots more then Kessler. Froch stunned Kessler a couple of times. Froch clearly outjab Kessler. And believe me i watch this fight soo many times and i want too see if i was wrong on my score card and that Kessler really won but i just didn't see it. Froch outwork Kessler.

 

Yea you're right but even when he was the aggressor, he was being outjab by Froch alot of times. Froch was also countering Kessler straight right hand to the left hook. And Froch was landing harder straight rights on Kessler more then Kessler did on Froch.

 

He won 8 rounds.

Kessler also got busted up in the same place by a headbutt from Ward, Seriously i could have hit Kessler and cut him open at that point and im only 140 pounds. it was an injury in case you forgotten and im not going to argue with anyone who though Froch won, it was a close fight with at least 2 razor thin rounds so if you give lee way then its either fighters win.

 

Kessler was generally hitting Froch more.. Kessler landed some nice power shots on Froch's body (i think that people are over looking this)..
And as i said he had Froch in retreat and hit him repetitive times on the retreat..

 

Kessler would have still got a bad cut in that fight vs Froch if Kessler never fought Ward. Froch was hurting Kessler alot with left hooks but mostly with Straight right hands. I forgot which punch Froch landed on Kessler that made Kessler left eye cut badly. My guess is the straight right hand. Kessler look like a beaten fighter while Froch look more like the winner.

 

The body shots, and the fact that Kessler backed him up and controlled the whole fight, well except the last 2 rounds when they just traded, is why he won a clear decision.

 

He did not. Froch was the one that was clearly landing more on Kessler. Froch imo won that fight cause he landed the jab far more in which bother Kessler. Make Kessler think alot. And Kessler was offbalance also. And Kessler was hurt far more then Froch. The only round i think Kessler hurt froch was really the 12th. Froch was hurting Kessler alot more then 2 rounds.

Kessler battered Froch.

The only round Froch won convincingly was the 5th.

Kessler had a very nasty cut above his left eye. Froch had his nose broke, bruising under both eyes and his left eye was cut.
