You guys watch **** in slo-mo too much, watch real time.. he got dropped for sure, but he wasn't out.. the shots to the back of the head were worse than the uppercut. Which were illegal I might add. I just had wins like this.. takes away any enjoyment. Like Dirrel KO'ing Engel with a lowblow.. Yeah he was gonna win anyhow.. but sucks to end that way.
Fedor needs to call it a day, his heart obviously isn't in it any more. Nobody needs to see him rush in throwing bombs recklessly, make a mistake, get stopped and then shrug, claiming it's all in God's hands. He doesn't use his judo or his sambo skills anymore, his timing has gone to **** and he rarely tries to set anything up. He fights like a man who wants to get out of the cage as soon as possible. I just hope his pals at M-1 Global let him retire with some dignity, because at this rate he's going to be jobbing to Chad ****ing Griggs in a Challengers card main event.
Anyone else surprised with Hendo being able to work Fedor over for three minutes on the cage with **** all resistance. Was surprised how easy it was for Dan until he got caught.
Fedor's all out style is a kill or be killed style and it is damn exciting. He is still competitive and entertaining despite the losing streak. Fedor said that he never thought he was the greatest and never got caught up in the hype. The media and fans were the ones who got all caught up in that GOAT debate. I say let's see Hendo vs Fedor II. This was like the Hagler-Hearns of mma. I'm sure both fighters would say yes although Fedor might be up in the air about continuing to fight.

watch fedors knee. he gets hit with the uppercut, wobbles but stays on his knee and elbows, then the first hit to the back of the head connects and he goes flat. herb dean ****ed up, should have stopped the fight, taken a point away and allowed fedor time to recover.
There's a gif from a better angle floating around and he's clearly out from the uppercut. He sags to the floor and only comes to after the second shot to the back of the head. Illegal? Yes, the back of the head shots were but they were also academic because his glass shattered on the first blow and the follow-ups woke him up. Also, nitpicking about back of the head shots in a finishing situation like that is ridiculous because if referees actually stopped the fight every time a fighter who was already seriously hurt caught an errant shot or two to the back of the head we'd have more ****ed up and controversial stoppages than we already do.
nice assessment. Plus it was odd to see how thin Fedor's legs looked. I know it's not a bodybuilding contest and he was fighting a lhw almost, but basic strength especially in the legs is important for damn near everything. I know Fedor doesn't get "jacked up" but I've seen him with fair amount of muscles in the past. I just think the apparent lack of (leg) strenght training shows where Fedor's heart/head are at (not 100% into continued fighting imo).
