Yeah I suppose thats right, I dont want to sound like im making excuses for the performance. The right team always wins rightly in the end. Theres should be no word ''deserves'' in football, not by Mayo, Dublin or any other team:good

 

Exactly. I was only bringing up other teams to stress the point that the dubs can in no way feel hard done by. When they win an all-ireland, then they will "deserve" it :good

 

I wish the Dublin hurlers the best. I hope the footballers get to the final and then bottle it again in spectacular fashion when it really matters. They dont deserve an All Ireland, by that reasoning Waterford footballers deserve an All Ireland. Take Bernard Brogan out of that Dublin team and its very average. Will be a Kerry vs Dublin final and ill find a bit of green and yellow to wave around somewhere

I see the Cork lads are a bit upset about yesterdays defeat. The Dubs over the last 2 seasons have improved in both the football and hurling and you lot cant say we havnt. A win in the football isnt far off in all honesty. I look at our back line its a young fullback unit and in years to come they will get stronger and stronger. We have 1 of the best midfielders in MacAuley the lads a powerhouse. Our forward line is playing more like a team than just give it to Benard to score. Also a young forwards and if and when they win a All Ireland will boost them big time and they could win a couple in there time in the Dublin panel. We have more strenght in the squad than ever before a final against Kerry would be something else with the rivarly over the years.

The hurlers will need a miracle to win the hurling no doubt about it the Cats destroyed us in the Leinster final but the hurlers every year are getting stronger and stronger this Dublin hurling team could well win a All Ireland in years to come even the young Dubs hurlers are doing great. Its a shame the hurlers dont get the support that the footballers get. I will be hopefully at the Dubs v Tyrone game this Saturday night should be a great game and I will stand by what I said earlier whoever wins that game will go on and win the All Ireland this year.

 

It was a point fair and square. I was talking to a Limerick lad who was at the match and it was defo a point. Limerick people are as honest as they come:bart

 

As for the rest of the football. I hope either Mayo win it or da Dubs. Mayo have suffered more than anyone losing in finals (bar Limerick). As for da Dubs, no-one brings more fans, colour or excitement to Croker than they do. I have my Hill 16 ticket (20Euro) for next Saturdays match against Tyrone and I'll be cheering them on.
