Why would Kessler fight Bute after Stieglitz when he can fight the unified champion and super six winner?
Why would he fight the unified champion and super six winner when after Stieglitz there's Magee. :yep :good
Bute will fight the Super Six winner before Kessler. Mark my words and don't be afraid to bump this message when it happens.
This battleship needs the genuine support from well intentioned fans like yourself that are true fans of this sport and not just singled out fighters. We will show the way how to carry ourselves with respect and pay less attention to this board's little parasites with agendas... I sure hope the few Nordic Euros on this board don't truly represent their brothas and sistas. Only little minds keep trying to debase others in order to raise their own profiles.... They make air head blondies that haven't shopped for over 2 months seem like they're sain in the brain. It's always a pleasure to read your insights Decebal. Do us a favor and drop in more often ! :good
Agreed. Looking foward to seeing him beat either Ward or Froch. Bute is just pure class, while those two, well. Lucian will unify the belts at 168.
I actually think it depends who wins the S6 final. If Froch wins, then I think Kessler gets the first crack at unification, but if Ward wins, then Showtime will heavily be pushing for Bute to get his shot.
Its hard to see people already looking past Pavlik! You cant lie to yourself's and say its gonna be a Walk in the Park for Bute. its going to be one epic fight! Knowing this is Pavlik's Last Chance, you and I know he is going to come to Fight!
Quid pro quo: this is going to be first and probably last chance for Darryl Cunningham to get on world level stage; of course, keeping the proportion , there is little chance for Cunningham to make something happen(but so they said about Rubio or Ishida); anyways, this is just fan talk & expectations ; Bute considers himself the underdog against Pavlik, he respects him ... outside the ring
Under-dog? Really, BUTE considers himself the Under-dog? Come on now, the guy is Humble but not that much!
i think i misinterpreted or wasn't accurate about the circumstances; in Romania, Dan Ambrose's article http://www.boxingnews24.com/2011/07/pavlik-will-ko-bute-in-november/ was labeled on a very large scale as "the opinion of american press" so when Bute was asked about him fighting Pavlik he replied: "remains to be seen if i'll be or not, a certain target for Pavlik like the american press thinks; i am waiting to see his bout on august the 10th and i hope he'll avoid injuries so that on the 5th of november he'll see first hand if my footwork has degraded "
