What fights then did you talk about afterwards and think were good only to have everyone you know disagree?

I loved winky wrights defensive masterclass against trinidad but have yet to find another person who enjoyed it! everyone thought it was dull..

on a lesser scaled degale groves which i enjoyed but made the mistake of talking about with people who think boxing is all just mike tyson style ko's

Johnny Nelson v Carlos DeLeon springs to mind. It was a classic chess match type of fight rather than a brutal slugfest, but anybody who appreciates the more subtle side of boxing will surely remember this with fond memories...

I enjoyed DeGale vs Groves. It wasn't a great fight, but it wasn't a bad fight.

Just for the fact that it's the first time you see Hopkins almost having an asthma attack and blowing out of his arse. Joe's performance in that fight is underrated. He controlled the pace, which made Hopkins uncomfortable and he was also doing subtle things with his feet.
