I undrstand your criticisms of Nishioka, I just think he's fairly solid, nothing more, nothing less, but fairly consistent which is why I think he'll continue his steady run.

I meant out of these two :good There are far more, and some far GROSSLY overrated fighters than Gonzalez, I still think he'll get sparked by the first matey who really gives him a go at 126.

Hasegawa is just, oh, dear. :-(

I confess to only really knowing the 'modern era' of boxing, but Ezzard Charles is one of the greatest fighters I've seen, superb technical fighter in all aspects.

Only since he settled back in at Bantam IMO, his 'lull' (when everyone just wanted he and Mijares to get it on but Mijares fought the other top guys and then was blown out of the picture) and his early tenure back up at 118 were pretty uninspiring IMO.

When he was back on form I was like :happy Never though I'd see him turn the wick up again, quality little fighter, love the way he draws his shots.

Never said he wasnt, just that I would never rate him as the greatest of all time. Ive only seen mostly his heavyweight bouts, so I might do a proper go over on any footage of him I can find at his peak:yep

If Flea tries I'll have to open up my book of rhymes, and we all know he doesn't want that again.
That wasn't a knock at you, just that he was being spoken of so I'd thought I'd give my meaningless 2 cents.

No offence taken mate, im hardly an expert on the older era of boxing either, I could do with doing more research on it.

The 1970s heavyweights are overrated and just by viewing fight footage id take the 1990s era over them.

Against one of THE hardest hitting Heavyweights of that time. The K.O, for a former Middle (and a big light heavy at best) is insanely good! Picture perfect, timing, precision and the nuance to get a bomb off like that...=:yikes:!: Probably one of the greatest pure K.Os of all time. Satterfield was very much like a smaller (190lbs) Shavers, a tank and hit like ****.

Different angle here, bite sized version of fight as well

1:50-2:00 I mean, WTF!!?!? What was this man up to??? :deal

Charles avenging his loss to (and this is a controversial view in itself I reckon because this guy is much loved) borderline ATG Lloyd Marshall. Marshall was as dangerous as they come. A pretty young Charles here, at his very best. A war this!!!!!! but in abysmal quality by 'modern' standards

Yep, well the 90s was pretty sick.

Didn't one of those 70s guys go the distance with Holyfield? Oh, and didn't he win the Heavyweight title as well? And he wasn't even the best of the 70s Heavyweights, no he wasn't :think

Well, I'm sure he isn't talking about Masahiko? ;-)

And I'd have to agree on Hasegawa, he has some serious issues. But will still be a decent enough fighter as long as he's around IMO, just not going to live up to the promise (some) invested in him.

Jpab, your rhymes don't intimidate me at all. In fact, I felt I held my own throughout and actually conjured up some pretty sick chats, considering you're the big dog and I was a first timer, I mean, I didn't even have Pete Rademachers level of experience ;-)
