    I think what you guys fail to realize is that he's not burning weight at all...he's trying to keep his weight UP!

    If he kept burning fat and weigh as much as you guys say he does, he'd be 135 lbs...the man eats that much to stay at the 148 mark...

    Pacquiao isn't nearly as ripped as he was when he was a lightweight. He looks somewhat softer than usual as a WW. Still muscular of course, but not as ripped...

    1. Wrestling is though. You know how boxers lean on each other to tire the other guy out ? Its worse.
    2. The training is basically the same. It just has more time spent on ground work.

    Elite level cyclists will easily consume and burn off 7,000 calories a day when in training for a big tour - - but maybe thats the wrong sporting analogy for this most testy of subjects

    TypicalBlackkid, why don't you read the link about Phelps that was posted earlier? Regarding his 12,000 calorie diet, it has responses from a sports medicine doctor and a nutritionalist. You might learn something, instead of having to rely on assumptions.
