106: Paul Gonzales - Gold Medal
112: Steve McCrory - Gold Medal
    119: Robert Shannon - 3rd Round
125: Meldrick Taylor - Gold Medal
132: Pernell Whitaker - Gold Medal
139: Jerry Page - Gold Medal
147: Mark Breland - Gold Medal
156: Frank Tate - Gold Medal
165: Virgil Hill - Silver Medal
178: Evander Holyfield - Bronze Medal
201: Henry Tillman - Gold Medal
+201: Tyrell Biggs - Gold Medal

That's 9 Gold Medals out of a possible 12. All the guys in bold went on to be world champions (winning a WBO, WBA, IBF, or WBC world title). Gonzales, McCrory, Tillman and Biggs all went on to challenge for world titles in their pro careers.

Has there been a more successful, or talented Olympic team than this? :think

The 76 team can't match the numbers but had Ray Leonard, Mike Spinks, Leon Spinks, John Tate and the oft forgotten Leo Randolph and was generally considered to be the best ever American boxing team prior to 1984.
