they keep on saying they have put the khan fight behind them, and are not generally effected by it, but then 2 minutes later there talking about a potential rematch and there signing up to fight bredis prescott its beyond daft? they keep on saying prescott some kind of worldclass fighter with worldclass power but the myth was exposed back in 2009 courtesy of Miguel vasquez and then again by a SFW who was making his début at that weight. Paul Mccloskey achieves nothing by beating prescott i think the khan fight was controversial and stopping it on something minor was just pathetic. but he needs to get real and fight some1 legitamate like lucas matthyse or even ashley theophane

It's just a publicity stunt, Eddie Hearns is a slimey b4stard, he wants to keep calling Khan out to hype his **** job McCloskey up and now he wants to fight Prescott to try and make a point, I've heard of fighters revolving their careers around fighters (e.g. Witter/Hatton) but its the first time I'm seeing a promoter revolve his career around a fighter. Khan really must have damaged Hearn's ego.

    (1) Prescott dropped Vasquez, Tim Bradley couldn't do that, and Vasquez and Saul Alvarez have done 14 rounds and I dont think Alvarez dropped him either.

(2)How is dropping a split decision to a future world champ getting exposed ? :patsch

Relatively big name fighter with serious technical flaws it seems like a pretty straight forward choice of opponent to me.

coming into the fight vasquez was considered a stepping stone, he was exposed over the course of 10 rounds he only managed to win 1 round, there is no way in hell that fight was close perhaps u should watch the fight and score it for yourself instead of looking it up on boxrec

Ironsense........are you a Muslim lad..? I'm not like.

I've always suspected that you was a Muslim.

    Just a general question.

    I've got nothing against Muslims.

I really think Hearn won't be too bothered that you don't get him.

To be honest, I think the ref called the fight perfectly. Khan dished out a one sided beating, & McCloskey had no answer. He wanted out, ref stopped it then Pauls professional pride kicked in & hes been in denial & squealing ever since.
Mix that with Irish fighters having massive pull in America, & all of a sudden the Prescott fight looks like clever matchmaking. Not to we hardcore ****ers, but to joe public.

TBH, I dont think paul wants anywhere near Khan, but beating Prescott will be his redemption & give him peace of mind after his Audleyesque performance against Khan.
