That's what inspired me to ask. I'm curious what "good money" is..... is it like, 10 times what Ortiz has ever made before?

floyd will be making somewhere in the region of 30- 40 million judging on how well the ppv will do. I think ortiz will end up with around 5 million.
common trends in boxing, de la hoya v hopkins did a million buys and $40 million was split (30+10) Holyfield v Tyson rematch did 2 million homes and ( $70 million split between the fighters) (so about $35.. per million) De la hoya v Mayweather 2.44 million homes ( $80-85 million split between the fighters you get the general assumption around $35-40 million is in the pot per million homes for the fighters but depends on other things sponsors, live gate revenue etc as well. If Mayweather v Pacquiao did 4 million homes, I truely believe both fighters would walk away with $80 million+ each
Well, considering Ortiz got around $50,000 for his Peterson fight, against Mayweather he'd be making more than 10 times of that. Not sure what he made in the Berto fight, though.
