With Vitali's 45th fight coming up I thought it would be interesting to compeare his socalled "unfair highth advantaged" to another 45 fight heavyweight champion's career, the 70's George Foreman.

    Highth Advantage:

George Foreman: 6'4". Averaged opponent: Between 5'11" and 6'1".
    Foreman's highth advantage: 3" to 5".

Vitali Klitschko: 6'7". Averaged opponent: Between 6'2" and 6'4".
    Vitali's highth advantage: 3" to 5".

And the same goes with weight and reach.....:hi:

I say vitali, foreman was a beast with power but vitali's style relies more on his height, he uses it a lot when countering and staying away.

6'3"?? Where did you get that from? Did you suck it out of your ass?
Boxrec listed Foreman at 6'3 and a half. But thats older Foreman.
It's common to shrink a half inch from your mid 20's to your mid 40s...

Most of Foreman's fights in the 70s, he was listed between 6'4" and 6'4 and a half...But even older Foreman was listed as 6'4" most of the time..:hi:

The Klits are just tall. Neither are especially gifted boxers.

Foreman was not only a beast, but in his prime, would also out box either klit. Not only would he have outboxed them, but he would have out strengthen them too.
here's one of the things Foreman liked to do on his Texas farm while training.
He'd run with this thing on his back.

I think that in reach, both Klits may have had a reach advantage over Foreman. Their height and reach would have been their only advantages over Foreman, and I expect they may have had some early success using the jab to keep foreman at bay, for a while. Once that prime Foreman connected an overhandd right on either of them, that would be it. KO

70's era Foreman destroys 70's era Vitali. Won't even last the first ten seconds of the first round.

Actually he was listed as 6'3 in the 70's. Somehow he grew in inch during his comeback when he was in his 40's? I know you didn't know that because you're talking out of your ass.

Here is an old 6'3 Ali (Although Dundee claimed he measured Ali and that he was 6'2) standing next to Foreman.

Show me one fight in the 70's where he is listed 6'4 and 1'2. I dare you.

Foreman is one of the most naturally gifted fighters of all time.

I base that on the fact that he went from his first amateur fight to winning the gold medal in less than 2 years. He entered and won a tournament in only his second month of fighting as an amateur.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS GET BACK TO ADVANTAGES? This is so stupid. What matters is skill and talent of the era you are in. I do not think either bro would have been champ in the ali-frazier-foreman era.
