First 5 1=Manny Pacquiao 2=Wladimir Klitschko 3=Sergio Martinez 4=Juan Manuel Marquez 5=Nonito Donaire Pretty tight after that, would probably drop Bradley.
B-Hop above Nonito. JMM 2nd, Wlad above Sergio. Apart from that, very good, 6-10 are interchangable, not sure Miguel still warrants a place though :good So mine is probably (though I can understand Sergio above JMM) 1. Manny 2. Marquez 3. Wlad 4. B-Hop 5. Martinez 6. Nonito Any order or 2-6 is entirely fair though :thumbsup 7. Gamboa 8. Segura 9. Ward/Froch 10. Bradley/Khan
Ranking Wlad is a difficult one. If you're just going purely on achievements then he definitely deserves to be up there but if you're doing it on a 'pound for pound' basis, almost every fight he has a massive height, reach and weight advantage.
P4P means achievment though. even though the actual name sames differently. Its all about who has the best record.
I go by 'by the strength of their division how good is the fighter at hand'. And Wlad, apart from his Brother, has beaten everyone in his division with ease. The 'if he was this size' is soo spurious for me :good
Gamboa and Cotto don't really belong in there. I love Miguel, but he's been treading water at LMW. The Margo fight won't change that for me. Gamboa's an awesome talent, but hasn't beaten a genuinely elite guy to merit inclusion in the top ten. I'd have Wlad a lot lower, but agree with his inclusion. I'm not sure about Ward - he's only beaten Kessler and a series of journeymen. Depending how he performs against Froch, I might reconsider. Id probably put Rios in there now. I think his performances merit inclusion. Also, if you have Bradley in there, Khan probably deserves consideration. Id probably still have Montiel in there. His record and performances shouldnt be deleted just because he lost to Donaire.
And how well they perform in each fight, otherwise Sven Ottke would be looked upon much more favourably.
Yeah I think that's fair enough. Just saying I can see why people might disagree with him being high. 2 or 3 is way too high IMO But as Moe said as well he can only do what he's doing and beating everyone with ease. Bit of a shame he can never fight the #2 in the division though.
Hmmm, I'm unconvinced about Gamboa. I just don't see it entirely. I thought about Segura, but can happily see him in place of Rios. Looking at your list, Froch over Ward is a definite. Wards record lacks the depth of Carls. Simple fact, regardless of Wards clear win over Kessler. But I wouldnt put Froch in.

All fair points, I actually amended my list so I'd sat pick one of either 9/10 as both SMW and LWW should have at least one entrant considering the depth of both divisions at the moment :god Segura over Rios for sure, Acosta was a quality win but he wasn't the no.1. As forAntillon, never rated the guy, so Roos for me is a top contender at the mo', nothing more :good
Rios is a good point DF. I think with Gamboa he beat Salido with ease who then went on to KO Lopez. he is a clear no.1 in a division.
