Id rather see Jeff come out swinging and maybe get knocked out than sum of the young boxers, like the last prizefighter, who come out try and box for 3rounds and loose comfortably.

******ed thread. Prizefighter is not meant to be for unbeaten, young prospects. It is about comebacks, last chance saloons and ideally action packed, short fights for the fans.

They have not all worked out, but the fact is that only Takaloo has fought better comp than Jeff in his career and come fight night Tak will be nearly 37 and have not fought a round of boxing in 3.5 years.

Other fighters include Kris Agyei-Dua who is 3-0 but only turned pro this year and is 30 years old too.

JJ Bird is also fighting and his record is 5-5-2 with his last 6 fights being 4 losses, one win and one draw and again with him having not fought in 2.5 years by the time he steps into the ring for Prizefighter.

So what exactly makes it a disgrace?

Wow, what is your problem? I thought the whole idea behind the Prizefighter concept was to reinvigorate the sport, open it up to non-boxing fans and really just try and positively raise the profile of boxing. I can't think of a much better illustration of this than the whole campaign and eventual inclusion of Jeff Thomas in the LMW show. I think he's perfect Prizefighter material and will be rooting for him come sept 15th...

Boxing is entertainment, and Prizefighter isn't the Super 6. The fact that you are making this thread is reason enough to throw in a wildcard who will go into this with a bit of support (maybe more than any of the other guys).
