At least they could of thrown an offer of 30% to Pavlik and his team.

$1.1m is not peanuts, but its not a good amount of money for Pavlik in such a big fight, at this point.

I'm gonna say it outright: $1.1m is not even 10% of the total revenue for a fight of this magnitude.

Pavlik is doing the right thing.

Pavlik was the champion and undoubtedly took the lions share.

You, me and everyone else on here know that $1.1m is not even a total of 10%.
It's not a small amount, but seeing it from a whole picture its just a small piece of the pie.

How do you figure that? The UFC sold 55,000 tickets in Canada recently, and the gate was around 11 million. No way a Bute-Pavlik fight would come close to generating 15 million at the gate. A 15 million dollar gate would be bigger than Pacquiao-De La Hoya or both Tyson-Holyfield fights which were in Vegas.

    Good news!

I didn't like Pavlik's chances against Cunningham, and would prefer that they fight after kelly KOs Bute.
Now, the Bute negotiations will restart, get worked out with Kelly getting his money and they will meet and Pavlik can put an end to the hype.

    War Pavlik!!

May have overexaggerated a fair bit by saying those numbers for the gate.

$1.1m of the total revenue does not even equal 10%, we all know it.

I, for one think Pavlik is, well... if not making the right decision, making the right business decision, I bet they will renegotiate this fight and Pavlik will land over $2m.
