    Bute and Johnson are friends and they have sparred a lot. Johnson was his sparring partener for the two Andrade fights and Bute was Johnson's for his two Dawson fights. Johnson still has a pulse and would be the best fighter Bute has fought. The only "better" fights out there for him are vs Kessler(who is being a *****) and Dirrell after his tune up. Now thats the best available fight for him right now.

    Berto we all know was getting paided WAYYYYY too much for his fights. So to say its peanuts just because HBO was over paying Berto is stupid and shows a lack of knowledge on your part.:good

    why would top rank do that? if kesslers offer had never been made public would we be thinking this 1.1 million was so bad? he must have not thought so since he was basically set to fight him in the fall

    Kessler took the smart way for once, he's gonna have bargaining rights should he have a belt under him, and lets not forget he's the WBC emeritus champion, thus providing him an immediate WBC fight as soon as the S6 is finished.

    Dirrell or Johnson would be a great choice. Kessler will fight the S6 winner.

    Johnson looks to be much more dangerous that Pavlik at this point.
