Pavlik just pulled out of fight

Pavlik has become a no-heart, money-obsessed, ****-the-fans slick African American boxer.

 

There is no shame in Pavlik's two losses. Hopkins and Martinez are great fighters and Pavlik moved up in weight to fight BHop. There is a lot of shame in what happened today. He pissed off Showtime, Top Rank and all his fans going to the fight at once. I've been a Pavlik fan since day one. This is a career that has been horribly mismanaged in the past and present.

 

Either way, Kessler makes a good amount of money capturing Stieglitz title, and if he has to wait, he'll fight for the unified, undisputed championship in 2012 one way or another, unless he loses.

If he fights Bute for $3m he's gonna become irrelevant, whereas if he beats Stieglitz, he's in for a big event type-fight.

You can't blame him.

2. He is not gonna make the weight because he is drinking still.

3. Or What he said was true comparing 3.5 mil Kess got offered compared to 1.1

The BUTE contract has never been SIGNED. So obviously the money offer wasn't right! Surely he would have made at least 2 mil in Atlantic City but Pavlik said he wanted to fight in Monteral (Really because he thought he would get more up there).

This is a slap in the Face to Me, and the City of Youngstown, and His Fans from all over the world!

All he had to do was fight cunningham and collect a paycheck and worry about BUTE after, but There HAS TO BE MORE TO THE STORY, because i wouldnt think he would ever cancel a fight in Youngstown unless he was truely HURT. Well he didnt come out and say he was hurt, he said he is pissed about the money...

He may never have a meaningful fight again, and deservedly so.

Kessler vs Bute is a geat fight/event with or without the WBO title and it doesnt make it any bigger just because they can put "unification" on the billboard. And so you are pretty much saying Kessler has no chance against Bute and is just cashing out by taking an easy fight vs Steglitz and then the big payday vs Bute, Froch or Ward?

That's calling being a *****. A smart ***** and a rich one but a ***** none the less.

Nope, not saying that. But I am saying Kessler looks finished as a premiere fighter, and would be favored to lose a fight with Bute, specially if it was to be held in Montreal, which interbox wanted!

Kess has a win over Froch, so should Froch win there's gonna be an immediate rematch in the works, if Ward wins, Ward either fights Bute and Kessler gets to fight the winner, or he simply fights Kessler right away.

Kessler can sit back and lick his chops, and nobody should be calling him a *****, he flew over to Oakland to fight Ward, he flew over to Cardiff to fight Zaghe, and now he's a *****? C'mon man, wake the **** up.

 

Bute fight is off the table too? Worthless ****. He might as well retire.

I like it. Way better fight then Pavlik vs Bute. If Dirrell is the same Dirrell before the layoff this is a 50/50 fight where as Bute vs Pavlik was 80/20 in favor of Bute.
