I know Dirrell's dangerous, but I have faith in Bute :yep, he can shock the world if he pulls a devastating Ko against a guy with fast hands and great footwork and also a guy who almost beat Froch.
Dirrell groupie! That's pathetic. He struggled with that Abraham bum and never fought since then. He also lost to Froch. And all of a sudden is a favorite against the alpha dog and most avoided boxer of the division. You groupies are hillarious!
Whats even funier is all boxing fans are against all the silver belt, diamond belt, emeritus, super champion, regular champion and such... but when its your fighter who have benefit from this ****, its ok and its a good move from his part. double standard.
Looks like Pavlik had a contract deal conditional to a win on Saturday. He accepted it first. Heard about Kessler offer. Then took the only way out of the agreement (no win on saturday) What do you think?
1, He schooled Abraham, and won every round except one where he got legitimately KD. 2. The majority of ESB and ESPN had Dirrell winning that fight against Froch, but whatever makes you sleep at night, I suppose. No shame in "losing" to Froch, whom by the way actually fought fighters while at 168lbs, unlike your boyhood hero Bute. And Arthur Abraham bears a remarkable resemblance to Bute, he got overhyped beating bums (I admit, I got on the Abraham train too, unfortunately). Abraham pre-Dirrell/Froch schooling had a very similar record to Bute.
No not on that. But maybe, just maybe, on that: "Dirrell is the single best athletic specimen in boxing at the moment." See the difference? :think
This decision is so misguided and irrational that I wonder what else is going on. I hope Kelly is okay. The way the Top Rank statement reads, it appears that Pavlik's team also do not support this decision. When a fighter goes his own way apart from his people, that's usually a very bad sign.
