That's not exactly true though is it. I mean.. Khan was the one that said the then British and European champion Murray hadn't achieved enough to fight him when Khan hadn't fought anyone decent himself.

Trust me, Khan said that after Murray had been calling him out and saying stuff about the lad, gotta rate Khan big time for this!

 

No Khan said that when he was the world champion whereas murray was calling out khan, but then fighting people like gary buckland........ After the Mccalister fight he said he would ko khan in two rounds! Khan offered murray the fight twice but his promoter turned it down both times.

 

but was this during gallagher unbeaten record couldnt risk it against someone like Khan till he got to 50

 

Khans a great guy, I can't understand why he gets so much hate.

 

People say he's arrogant, but the hate he receives on boxing forums is usually from closet racists, its a small minority in general, just seems to be more prominent on forums.

 

It's not that at all pal. Some is obviously racism but a lot of it is down to the way Khan conducts himself.

I went through a period of not liking Khan and then I started to really like him. Now I'm pretty much indifferent on the man himself. He doesn't help himself at all with some of the stuff he comes out with. He clearly isn't a clever lad but the biggest problem with him is that his entourage is full of yes men and not someone (or a few people) who can pull him to one side and tell him what's what! He needs help when it PR type work and it isn't being afforded to him via his circle of hangers on :good

 

There is certainly some truth to this, but everyone gets hated on on this forum, of all races.
Some of the stuff Hatton used to get was flat out bizarre. Taunting knocked out fighters with somberro hats while cackling evilly.
One of his fans said coming on here was like 'Entering the Twilight Zone'. And he was right!
You can't compare internet forums to real life, for some reason they seem to attract the mentally disturbed.
