As a huge Pavlik fan Im dissapointed...I guarantee hes back on the sauce again and thats the real reason for not fight.

 

Like i said, the only thing I can see is that the BUte fight was a done deal conditional to a win against Cunningham.

He changed is mind (hearing about Kessler offer) and decided "not to win" on saturday.

Great to see that people are already laying some blame on Bute. Lets remember that all this recent info also says that Kessler turned down more then 3 million. But it's all Bute's fault...

Yea if you look at it, its the safe move. Pavlik hasn't looked so hot in the last couple years and fighting Bute at this stage is a guranteed loss, possibly by TKO. 1.1 mil would merely be a retirement pack if he took it. Although afer ****ing Showtime and Top Rank Pavlik now needs to sign w/ Golden Boy to remarry w/ HBO, and take his training and sobriety seriously.
