Yes it was sealed and all Pavlik had to do was beat Cunningham. Like many other fights in the past guys have deals set to face someone else while still have to fight a tune up or a madatory defense ect. You are the only one saying that its a two fight deal.atsch
What the F atschatschatsch I really hope you are not serious man Damn. This would be like a suicide for Bute. :yep
It looks more and more like Pavlik is either drunk and coked up again and just didnt wanna fight or he was scared that Cunningham might actually beat him.
That was just an hypothesis dude... Trying to explain (not justify because clearly, he accepted whatever deal it was). Not trying to make you believe anything.
i need something to come out to persuade me otherwise. i don't know what really is...but it certainly looks bad. really bad. i'd love to be able to disagree but i really can't right now. this looks soooo bad. i can only go on what has happened in the past. he pulls out of the vera fight citing a rib injury (which i guess happened) but there was also other issues. here, he pulls out over money (which i guess could be true) but i wouldnt be surprised if there were other issues, especially when you consider the recent episode which kelly said didnt happen as initially reported. i hope everyone is wrong about this and all is well...but hope is about all i can do right now.
I think its a good idea not to fight Bute. Pavlik does not need to get beaten up by Bute for a million dollers . And he does not need the southpaw Cunningham for 50 thousand if he is not going to fight Bute. Personally I would like to see Pavlik at this point against Abraham or Glen Johnson and see if he can get some sort of momentum going in his career that has stalled.
