does he seriously think he can handle bute. not only is bute a division higher than him, but bute is technicly much better than him, faster, stronger, just everything. even a prime pavlik would have a hard time with bute, but a washed up (now) pavlik gets seriously his ass kicked.

the ring website wrote kelly had n offer from bute and that he wants him and not that other bum for his next opponent.

    :huh

I only saw that he did NOT want to fight Bute (for 1.1 mil) and no one knows why he decided to pull out of the fight this weekend.

Kid's a ****ing typical hicktown waster

The only version of Pavlik I wouldn't beat seven shades of **** out of is the one who's empty bottle of whiskey I'm holding.

No one wants to be in between Kelly and his rye. Not even chuck norris.

I've been a few times. They're publishing multiple articles on the topic quite frequently, but I haven't read anything that says he wants to face Bute next (they have a possible misleading headline that says "Pavlik pulls out of Saturday;s Fight over Offer to Face Bute Next").

    Link?

the thing is what I don't understand is, about what is he, is money or fame or both?

if its money, than why not face average middleweights boxer where he would not get the same money he would get vs bute, but at least he would 99 % chances win and make some $ and not be punched as much in face like he would, would he fight bute. he could fight 3 times a year fight some contenders, make money no problem.

if he is about fame, than he should train harder and try too win vs sturm or piroq and if he is in shape try a last huuraa vs martinez. sm are simply too big for him and no matter kessler, bute, ward or even abraham, he would get an ass wuppin from all those guys.

umm....did you not see where I said I've been multiple times and have seen nothing about what you say outside of a possible misleading headline.

I'm asking you do you have a link to a SPECIFIC article where he's basically saying forget this guy, I want Bute next?

Do you have a link to that specific article?

He's not out of his mind... he's getting schooled by Bute anyway probably KTFO, why not ask more money before his stock plunges into the bottom of his beer glass?

    Yeah...

that was the misleading headline I was talking about.

    Did you read the article?

"He said, 'Why should I fight Bute for $1.1 million if Kessler wouldn't take $3.5 million? And why should I fight Cunningham on Saturday if I'm not taking the Bute fight? So I'm not fighting either one of these guys.' That's the last conversation I had with Kelly.”

Pavlik's trainer, Jack Loew, said on Tuesday that he first learned of Pavlik's decision early Monday, shortly after the fighter failed to show up for a 9 a.m. run.
"Well, it is what it is,” Loew said. “He didn't show up for the run yesterday, but then we had a 10-to-2 p.m. workout scheduled for here [in Youngstown] at the Southside Gym. But he called me about 10 minutes before the workout and said, 'I'm not taking the Bute fight, and I'm not fighting on Saturday.’

Nowhere in the article is Pavlik saying he wants a fight with Bute next. It says he doesn't want to fight Bute (for 1.1 mil)
