Floyd is too versatile to let a strategy like that get the better of him. Sure, ambushing may allow you to steal a few rounds, but what the **** you gonna’ do when he familiarizes himself with your bursts and begins countering them? To beat Floyd, you better have at least 3-4 different plans going in. It takes him only a couple of rounds to figure you out before you have to abandon plan A and jump immediately to plan B, and so on.

Dwyer just nearly completely described Pacquiao, aside from the volume point (though Pacquiao is more patient). I am shocked.

Turn him to make him move his lead foot and come out of his comfort zone, keep moving and changing the angle, jump inside from the outside, make a point to land a hard shot early and follow up with a combination.

Sexy Sergio, why must you be so big? Martinez is the one man who can make an interesting fight with Mayweather.

Does any one else find Dwyer extremely hard to listen to? On a scale of 0-10, his charisma is 0.5

Lets put it this way. I and every other guy with a boxing background can do everything floyd can do. We are just not as good at it. He can put up his high guard and walk fighters down like a pressure fighter but he isn't very good at it. We can start naming better pressure fighters but post length might become a problem.

Dwyer may not always predict winners perfectly (he's thinking about the most profitable bet options, anyways), but he does bring up good points in stylistic dynamics that most people on his forum aren't keen enough to catch, or bother to try. His voice sucks, and I usually fast-forward the irrelevant points and tangents he usually makes at the beginning, but it's always good to hear the opinion of someone whose actively trying to isolate dimensions and make solid predictions.

I've been sayin this **** FOR YEARS, when ya'll suckers ass mother ****ers didn't agree with me when I said Vernon Forrest would beat Floyd.

GUESS what...Roger says Vernon would HAVE BEEN a hard ass fight for Floyd.

    HOWEVER...

Not every fighter can implement this strategy. It depends on the fighter. Guys like Aaron Pryor or Roberto Duran for instance would have more success trying to beat Mayweather's ass.

One dimensional fighters dont parry and counter the way Floyd does while retaining the option of using ring geneneralship to fight on the back foot or to come forward and launch their own attack. He can be the aggressor, he can fight on the back foot and he has and uses every punch in his arsenal. He goes from the body to the head back to the body. Hooks, uppercuts, straight punches combined with his shoulder roll, infighting abilities and control of distance between his opponent. I have never seen another one dimensional fighter with those abilities coupled with the ability to use the correct game plan at the correct time.

Only an idiot would define those characteristics as on dimensional. In fact I would be curious as to your definition of one dinmensional fighter.
