Who has the better chin? Lewis? Or Wlad?

Lewis and by a good margin. He took monstrous shot from many big puncher and was on the mat only twice. Wlad have been decked many times.

 

vlads been down 11 times and it completely dictates the way he fights. he basically has no inside game and continually clinches because he knows how bad his own chin is. lewis has a far superior chin to vlad.

 

Lewis was badly knocked out twice but he showed a good chin in many other fights. We've seen tough guys get knocked out by the same punches Tua, Briggs, Vitali, Bruno etc., landed on Lewis and yet they weren't able to put him down.

Wlad has taken very few good punches in his career. The last time he got hit clean, he held on against Haye in the 12th. Before that, you'd have to search to find him taking good punches. From Peter onwards, he's barely taken a clean punch. When he gets hit, he never reacts well.

 

Lewis no doubt. Other than his losses you rarely saw him budge.

The thing that bothers me about Wlad is his actual fear of taking a punch, although he has curbed it a bit in the last couple of years. But still not something you like to see from a hw champ.

 

Conclusion: Wlad's chin > Lewis' chin

 

Lewis was TKOD by McCall not KOd. He got up and was counted out in six seconds. Had that fight not been in Britain, the ref would have let the fight go on.

The other was a great KO by Rahmann. In a fight Lewis didn't train properly.

Your more likely to get Kod when exhausted/tired. Plus this is heavyweight boxing.

Lewis had a good chin.

 

Conclusion - I have'nt got the backbone to be my own person. I must impersonate others.

IMO Lewis had better chin, but britards should not be allowed to answer this question!

 

Lewis was tougher and had more heart. But I am not sure his chin was very stronger than Wlads. Wlad took a clean right shot to the jaw from Haye in the 12th round, and it was just business as usual. He did his octopus routine, while Haye asked himself what Sanders has that he lacks.
