Neither Mitchell nor Katsidis have the power to hurt Rios.

If you can't hurt Rios, you can't beat Rios.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah. Boring argument. Rios may not be the best. But I"ll take a Brandon Rios over an Alexander or Judah any ****ing day.
Boxing needs more Brandon Rios type fighters.

Although Rios can beat both of those guys and with ease, you don't have to hurt Rios to beat him. I think his biggest fear is being outboxed.

That is just the point. All his opponents except Antillion were boxers. Rios beat them all. Even Perez who he fought to a draw. Even then, Rios came back to knock him out. There is not a fighter at 135 to 140 who can survive his seek and destroy style.

rios looks the goods and kats has blocked way to many punches with his face i dont know where kats goes from here as he is a head case and wont change his ways .ie. lack of defensive movement ..

I think Michael Katsidis could provide the other half of a great fight with Rios. But have to agree with the OP that he hasn't got the power to put Rios away.

oh yes they do! if any of them get to fight rios, you'll see with your own eyes that statement go up in smoke.

rios is getting far too much hype these days... he's good for boxing because he's exciting.. but stop with the massive overrating. it'll all end in tears.

No one has rated Rios other than Rios himself. He has proven to be tougher than anyone other than us that know him expected. Few boxers train and prepare like Brandon does. Few boxers enjoy hitting and getting hit like Brandon does. Hit him hard and he will hit you harder. Hit him twice and he will hit you three times and with more power. He has been described as a beast in the ring. He is a monster. The more you hit him the more he pursues you. That is down right scary. The only one that can beat "Bam Bam" Brandon Rios is himself.

Rios beats the hell out of both of them, Rios is to good at cutting the ring and just chases his man down and then his power in both hands lights out.

WBA lightweight boss Brandon Rios, a few weeks removed from a hectic 3rd round TKO over Urbano Antillon himself, took in the action this past weekend and is far from smitten towards his fellow champion.

“You know what? No disrespect to Amir Khan, I don’t see nothing special,” Rios opened up. “They’re trying to make him like this big, special thing. I’m not saying that I’m the best fighter ever, but you know what? I don’t see nothing special about Amir Khan. I’m sure that he would say the same about me, that he doesn’t’ see anything special about me.”

Rios continued, taking more of dig at the 33-year old former champion Judah than Khan.

“To me, honestly, he fought a guy, Zab Judah, who is old. He was done and over with. He acted like he didn’t want to fight no more when he got hit low. He was just looking for a payday,” said Rios.

I had to ask Rios how he would size up and fight a rangy boxer like Khan and he seemed almost offended that I would have to ask such a question.
