So everybody is mad at Pavlik for pulling out, but what I can't understand is why people are still checking for him he's done between injuries and ass shoppings he's been done. So if Bute were to beat him would that meen bute is a great fighter all of a sudden? I put Kelly in the same group as Paul Williams, their best perfomances have been beating out of them and they're only shells of what they once were.

It wouldn't have proven anything, but for Bute it would have been a nice scalp on his resume. That's about it really, now instead of fighting a big name in Pavlik, he will probably have to fight somebody on the level of Brinkley, and Magee. Or even go lower to a Mendy type opponent...and we all know that nobody likes that.

Fine by me. That's a good choice, they are good friends so I hope they put aside that and get in the ring.

Pavlik would have proved that Bute would have beaten the living **** out of him.

I think bute should meet Dirrell! (or perhaps Johnson) .

Or one of the proven top guys.... but that is not likely to happen given bute's track record.

Bute would have stopped Pavlik and he will knock SOB Ward out also, but Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his own personal tournament, Ward always fights in his own turf while others have to travel thousands of miles.............
