    Yeah, I know.

Has it happened? Rumor or otherwise?

...so, like spit out their mouthpiece and wolf down a Snickers during the minute break? :huh

That's taking the "Why wait?" campaign a bit far...

Not exactly what you're asking, but it gives me a chance to tell a good story from several years ago -- 10 or more, I believe.

A club fighter down South, and I can't remember his name (but he was of little note) didn't get to eat for a few days because he was trying to make weight.

After the afternoon-of-the-fight weigh-in, he apparently went to KFC and bought a bucket of chicken -- and ate the entire 12-piece dinner all by himself, and very quickly.

He got a stomach ache after that, and was really feeling it that evening. So before he went into the ring, he drank an entire bottle of Pepto Bismal.

Somewhere early in the fight, his opponent hit him a good body shot right in the gullet, and he threw up this horrible stream of pink liquid and leftover chicken.

I believe the ref stopped it, if I remember the tale right.

I was not witness to this, but was told it by more than one person who was there.

One of Mark Breland's early opponents shat himself due to Mark's body attack early in their fight. He kept fighting, but the poo just kept running down his leg, and the referee had to stop it to save the (as Ring Magazine put it at the time) "grossed out crowd."

'Bionic' Billy Bagget (not sure if that spelt correctly) was known to drink cups of tea and sometimes read a newspaper between the rounds. All just for a laugh and to please the crowd of course. Christ, we could do with a few more guys like him

I read before that Nicolino Locche liked to snack on salted nachos in his dressing room just before the fight. I am not sure where i read this so it may not be true.
