No footage yet. I will post as soon as I get a fight on video. I have purposely not recorded anything because I didn't want to put added pressure on him. I want to let some time go by to allow him to get more comfortable in the ring.

Hmmmmmm it's so early to say something like that, but I would say Thomas Hearns. He is already very good at using his size and reach to keep guys at a distance, and he uses the right hand to measure for his str8 left.
He has developed a very sneaky right uppercut as a counter punch when he lets his opponent lead. Similar to the "smash" that Ruddock used.

Out of curiosity why weren't you excited about boxing before this kid walked into the gym?

In either case, it's always nice to hear about things like this. It's funny how kids can teach adults sometimes, even if it's just the ability to teach them to be optimistic again.

I will definitely keep everyone posted. I think it would be kind of cool to allow people to follow is development from now having been in the gym for only three months... where ever his future takes him.

Thank you. Always encouraging to hear support from true boxing fans. I think things will go well, and I will update on him as he continues his career.

I put a lot of time and effort in to two fighters that turned out to be very bad people.

Thanks... much appreciated. KINGS gym stands for Kids In Need of Guidance. He never boxed before he cme to our gym. My partner Marshall and I started Kermit Cintron as an amateur, and we were with him until after his first fight with Margarito. he was 24-4 with 17 ko as an amateur. We also coached Travis Kauffman from the start of his amateur career to now. He was a member of Team USA, and was ranked #1 in the country. Won the PAL nationals. Is now 22-1 as a pro I believe.
