How do you justify rating Young Peter Jackson behind Carter and Collins?

Also, i think that you forgot Bob Fitzsimmons and harry Greb, or were they number 38 and 39?

 

i like how frank mixes in reasonable picks, like sugar ray at #1, with ****ing stupid ones, like toney and rubin ****ing carter, in the top 10. it's how he fooled so many people for so long (myself included)

 

I can tolerate this/these certain disagreements but Sim Thompkins is usually regarded as a welterweight and he was stopped twice while Collins was never stopped , was bigger , his losses at 160 were all very close and he even had a better competition at 160 than Thompkins had.
Rubin Carter's sole stoppage loss was due to cuts , his decision losses were close too , was yet again bigger , and just see who he won and how.

I shall now consider their ranking which also reminded me of Choynski and Sharkey.

 

Keith holmes above greb.

 

If Tiger Flowers beat Greb twice (and this does not even include Greb's stoppage losses) why couldn't Keith Holmes ?
also : Keith Holmes stopped his challengers frequently and even his "loss" to Cherifi (decisively avenged later) was probably a robbery , Greb could not stop clubfighters .
If someone ranked Greb a tad bit over Keith Holmes , it would not have been a big problem for me , but Greb is extremely overrated and was also a dirty fighter who still could not capitalize on it like Zivic could for example , and was still stopped himself despite of it.

 

Keith doesn't come into any discussions regarding great middleweights. None.

I did not forget about them , a search through their records revealed records inferior to Keith Holmes' . Keith Holmes is underrated , LaMotta and Cerdan overrated.

cerdan beat georgie abrahams, holman williams and a pretty past it tony zale. all FAR better wins than anything on holmes' resume

lamotta beat robinson (small but who gives a ****, it's robinson), cerdan, satterfield, williams and zivic x3. all FAR better wins than anything on holmes' resume.

 

It's more than I managed to grasp from viewing their records but LaMotta also lost his share of times to Zivic and Smith was his DNA verified daddy . What's the greatness at fighting the same man multiple times , getting stopped by him , getting schooled by him but once barely outpointing him ? Sim Thompkins at least managed to stop Langford , Lamotta couldn't stop the much lighter Smith and the much lighter and also older Zivic , LaMotta was h2h inferior to welterweights , who did he stop ? Cerdan after fouling him ? and then some lousy "heavyweight" ? Keith Holmes had a reign of stoppages over undefeated fighters whom were sometimes proven and sometimes he remained their sole stopper , was never stopped himself , one of his 4 decision losses was a 6 rounder , another was avenged by stoppage and included a knockdown of the "winner" , another was a MD at age 36 and another was a competitive loss at an 8 rounder at age 38.
And then a loss to Hopkins , I just wonder if it was the usual Hopkins or if Hopkins actually fought under boxing rules .
