Remembering a True Legend: Ricardo “Finito” Lopez

I once asked ESB for some advice, to recommend some fighters who show great ring generalship, footwork, skills etc, one of the names mentioned was Finito. Since checking up on him, i have become a big big fan..

lopes was a great fighter and boxer but he never had that great opponent to validate his career, he never had the chance to fight la chiquita gonzalez or carbajal... he was better than both but they made more money and will be remember by a lot more people because of their fights against eachother...

still he didnt have that marquee name and fight in his resume and you cant compare careers like that because he beat one and that one beat the other doesnt mean he wouldve beaten chiquita and you might not care who made more money but i bet finito does
