    With Pavlik, Kessler, Froch, Ward, Steilgritz all of the table is this the only acceptable fight for Bute??

    Its an ok fight. Probably be good to watch, but despite all his plus points, Johnson is coming off a defeat and has only won 2 in his last 5. Would be impressive if Bute could stop him.

    Aren't Johnson and Bute good friends? Don't see it happening.

    Dirrell is a good shot but he is in the who needs him club right now. Nobody is gonna fight Dirrell until they have to.

    1. He sells no tickets
    2. He is boring
    3. Even if you beat him you will look **** doing it
    4. No network will back him right now
    5. He has a good chance at winning

    I think unless they are really desperate Dirrell has probably burned his bridges with Showtime over pulling out of the Super 6. At least with Johnson you know you've got a trier.

    Yeh an exciting fight, winnable for Bute so it virtually guarentees Bute vs Froch/Ward which is what they want.

    I think it's the best fight out there for him, yes.

    He's just given Froch a good, hard fight, and it would be Bute's best opponent to date probably?

    Dirrell is very risky fight for Bute and one he could lose. But for all his talent, Dirrell's mental toughness is questionable to say the least so i wouldn't expect him to want to face Bute just yet.
