    but does that source say a 3.1 rating or 3million viewers? could be 2 very different things. Either way its good numbers though

    3.1 is audience share about 1.4m viewers. Look up nielsen ratings if you want more info on how it works but I warn you it's complicated as hell.

    1.4 is a very solid result. HBO have been getting better numbers over the last year by digging in and forcing better fights. Long may it continue

    I don't think that's true. In fact, it definitely can't be or this fight wouldn't do such big numbers.

    Zab's last fight on HBO (Mathysse) only got around 700-800K live viewers

    Khan did close to 1.3 mill against Malignaggi and 1.1-1.2 mill against Maidana.
