Was looking forward to seeing more fights on One HD, i see more MMA on it these days than anything else combat wise which is sad because it had huge potential in brining back the adverage joe blow to the boxing screens. Hopefull they may revive the days of Ringside KOTV.

Stify, did you hear one HD may pick it up or you think they might?

Australia is becoming a joke very ****ing quickly, we are suppose to be nation of sports lovers but couldnt even substain a 24 hour sports channel, the fact they show AFL, netball and other numerous **** sports didnt helps its cause but its still a joke

 

Our channels have gone backwards, we can no longer get channel 10, 9 or 7 in HD, they use 7mate and gem as their HD channels and its usually old **** that isnt even in widescreen, ****in no use buying a HD TV in this country unless you fork out for FOX HD subsription.

Last year we had the main channels expect for 10 in HD, so could watch league etc in High Def, now ,we get to watch old black and white **** in HD, awesome!!!!

 

The promise from channel 9 is they would simulcast sport on GEM that lasted a whole month and back to the antique road show
I was ****ing fuming when they switched the main chanels off HD, the world promotes HD this and that and our ****ing Country turns it off. But hey we get to watch 500 repeats of freinds in narrow screen on the supposed HD channel, might as well get the old 52 inch rankarena back out .

 

Yeah i think they ended up showing the Aus vs NZ League test matches at the end of the year on GEM and that was it, bunch of ****s

 

i think the problem is that free to air TV doesnt have the infastructure like Fox and Austar, they also have a limited budget. PPV pretty much eventually kills off free to air as is seen in USA. I thought the goverment was throwing a bit more support to the free to air networks because we were all pretty much forced to switch to HD TVs once they switched off analog.

When do you guys think Zappa will get another title shot?
