Shot fat Lennox Lewis TKO6 Prime Vitali Quitschko and there is not a damn thing you nuthuggers can do or say to change that FACT.

Now **** off nuthugger and go back to worshiping a quitting steroid cheat.

    That's right.

When Lewis turned up out of shape in Rahman I, Rahman seized the opportunity.

When Lewis turned up even more shot and out of shape, Vitali got his face sliced up like a pizza.

    See the difference?

Vitali has moved on from this, if you must hold onto your false victory then so be it, its very sad that you distract from Vitali's very good career, your ensuring that this is what Vitali will be remembered for... congratulations.:good

alleways when lewis lose, he is not in shape, :tired

Steward "He [Lennox] told me that Vitali hurt him in that fight pretty bad and that he didn't want to have to face him again. I told him that if he wanted to continue fighting at all, that he would have to give Vitali a rematch. He chose to retire."

he retired cause he knew he did not have the will to train anymore for a big tough fight anymore. he went out on top and beat (TKO'ed) the next big thing.

some people will only be happy when they see top boxers embarassing themselves in their post prime and that is why they hate on the likes of Lewis and Calzaghe who had the brains to go out on top.

as for vitali, i love him as a fighter, but the fact is he will always be remember for a fight he lost.

Highly unlikely, by bitter Vitali fans maybe, but like i said you can hold onto that false victory, if thats all you can dwell on when looking at Vitali's career then your helping to weaken your heroes legacy which is incredibly short sited on your behalf:good

omg! again, i never denied that lewis luckily won the fight. also i never denied, that lewis has the better resume. but still he ducked the rematch with vitali and his signature fight was with zombie tyson! without injuries, vitalis reign would be better , than lewis.

but **** it, vitali is now the wbc champion! :happy

This is exactly why I started this thread. Lewis was ready to continue fighting as long as he did not have to rematch Vitali. He retired only when it became clear that he could no longer avoid it. Then, his PR machine created the myth that "he did not have the will to train/had nothing to prove".

What do you mean? This thread is about Lewis and the myth of his graceful retirement from the sport.
