James toneys is arguable one of the most overrated american fighters i'v seen, in some of his wins the decision could have easily gone the other way.

He had some decisions which he deserved go the other way to, so I suppose it kind of balances its self out.

He was robbed against Roy Jones though. Terrible decision there.

Nah, they taped over his knuckles and then put gauze on top of that. There was no illegal substance like Margo it was just the way they had done his wraps.

I know what he's referring to, but by referencing Titos destructive win over Joppy (whose punches also make a crack when they hit Tito, good HBO mic positioning that night) he's inferring that he used them a fair bit, and to gain an advantage in a fight where most people would say Tito legitimised himself as a serious contender for B-Hops crown (which is what Don Kings tournament was all about)

And I disagree with it. Tito was a very big puncher. Judge for yourself, with some awesome Japanese commentary ;-)

If David Reid had not been injured he would've went on to be a P4P great of the era.

He was a hell of a talent, if not for that bad eye that ****ed his career up, who knows how far he could have gone...

A real warrior to go along with his physical talent aswell, as he showed in his fight with tito.
