Manny's more versitile offensively....Floyd is more versitile Defensively. Both are extremely good at what they do.

Floyd is more versatile because when he gets hit, but he adjusts by making you miss, and he starts to lands on you more-basically disappearing from his opponents punches.

Pacquiao is also versatile as of late because he is fighting men who naturally weigh more and have a clear size and reach advantage because he can now rest on the ropes during a fight, make you miss, and come back fully energized and ready to attack.

That is the part of Pacquiaos fight game that I love about him now which gives him a great chance against Floyd should they fight.

    Floyd Mayweather Jr by far!

And this, by no means, makes Manny any less of a fighter..he just isn't as versatile..

Not many fighters in history are as versatile as Floyd.

I have not seen Manny switch his game up ONCE. It's always speed. punch, punch, punch. punch, punch, speed, punch, punch, speed, get hit, punch, punch, get hit, punch, hey something landed the other guys hurt, speed, punch, punch, punch, speed, speed, punch, punch, punch, TKO. Manny wins.

The Hatton fight alone is enough argument.

    not to mention
    - Castillo 1 and 2
    - Mosley
    - Judah
    - De La Hoya
    - Mitchell
    - Corley
    - Burton

Floyd is the most versatile boxer alive today. (With Hopkins a very close number 2.) Period. End Thread.

Floyd should knock Pac if they fight..

Floyd has much longer arms and much better footwork..

I think Floyd will be able to control the tempo of the fight with his better footwork and longer reach..

I also think Floyd will be able to time Manny just as JMM has been successful doing..

    Floyd by KO in 9....

Manny won't be able to deal with the better technical footwork of Floyd and he will not be able to deal with the longer reach of Floyd.

He also wont' be able to "box" with Floyd and will be forced to TRY and "fight"..problem here is Floyd knows how to "hit and not get hit" better than he knows how to "fight"..

Last but not least, Pac has a short jab and Floyd is excellent at coming over the top of these short jabs.
