I don't think Condit has the wrestling chops to stop the onslaught of takedowns and his guard isn't as active nor as threatening as Diaz's. Really, there's not one guy at WW that even halfway strikes me as an interesting match-up for GSP. I don't mind dominance but it sucks when the guy dominating is doing so by such a wide margin that you know he could end it with just a **** hair of effort towards finishing and putting himself at just a bit of risk. Anyway, we could easily sidetrack this thread with GSP fantasy match-ups so I'm done.

That was a bull**** move by Zuffa but sometimes you gotta cut heads to remind people who is in charge.

Yeah if only he had hit Koscheck hard enough to break his eye socket, gone for numerous submissions against Dan Hardy and actually gone for the knockout against Shields by using power shots like overhand rights and high kicks. ****ing GSP and his lay and pray, jab and move tactics.

Golden Glory was making the same demands for all their fighters

Absolutely no doubt about it that this is due to their ties with Reem! Zuffa power should not be used to strong arm fighters.

Einemo and Coenen should not be cut. Overeem should be.

What I've already said. That instead of paying all more monies due directly to the fighter Zuffa pays the bulk of the money directly to the camp. Kinda like Fedor/M-1 where Fedor is paid less directly by Strikeforce than M-1.

Serious question, why is it whenever Zuffa want to sign someone or negotiate contract or whatever it's an offer.

But when fighters try to negotiate it's a demand

    Its not.

Golden Glory demanded they be paid directly. Zuffa demanded they accept only the fighters getting paid. Golden Glory has the right to walk away from the deal. Zuffa has the right to walk away from the deal.

On this point I disagree with Golden Glory, on the AKA dispute I disagreed with Zuffa's position at least in so far as not better distributing the proceeds of the video game to the fighters.

I do however think Golden Glory are insane to be trying to play hardball with Zuffa. Not so much for the monopoly reason but because Zuffa got shafted hard by Nick Diaz/Cesar Gracie and were I'm sure begging for the opportunity to put the hammer down and show they're not being pushed around.

Problem is there's no give or take now with the monopoly

Now Zuffa dont owe anyone a living and Overeem is already well established as a name. But the next gen wont have the luxury of turning them down the way things are shaping up

    Business as usual !

I love business, I love how the american do business, in fact I really really love how everybody do business...it's so gentle and polite. I love monopoly too, it's the only way to do business. I hope one day there will be 1 company that is going to own EVERYTHING on the planet. If such a thing happen I will feel so lucky to be able to buy and give my money to such a nice company !

Fitch is gone? And the potential is Cain to go too? This is suicide by the UFC, ridiculous.

What's the actual ****ing issue here? They expect these guys who have trained there for maybe years to drop them for the ufc?

edit: nvm, 2008. Jesus that was shocking.
