Pac is not versatile at all. He's an all offence fighter who has improved his defense but is still a purely offensive fighter. His speed is unreal, he throws a lot of punches, and bounces in and out well while doing so. He doesn't fight well on the inside for an offensive fighter, but his speed and power bail him out beautifully. Floyd is far far more versatile.

Floyd is the best there is. Offense, Defense, ... you name it.

That's why random test is required to even the playing field.

He hasn't shown much of an inside game, but thus far no one has proven that he needs it. So he really hasn't been tested yet.

This is the best rebuttal you got??:patsch:rofl

I put up a perfectly valid argument with good points and you come back with this..

    Yet I'm the stupid one........

stfu with your weak a$$ post..

    garbage a$$ poster right here...

"what you don't see can knock you"

takes a lot less power to knock someone when they never see the punch coming...

Lets not forget how JMM is able to time Manny...Hate to see what someone like Floyd, with better timing than JMM would do to em..:hat

next time come with a better post too..$hit was garbage:deal

Margo had him on the inside a few times, and Pac had trouble with it. He got out though and made Margo pay with a broken orbital bone. But it's kinda been tested.

mayweather has it all hands down he has it all hes decades away from were pacquiao is at thats not to say pac isnt a ways off from plenty active fighters but hes way too limited his style relies on offense as his defense, he sometimes feints mindful of positioning, has some idea of mid range techniques and referee awareness but thats bout it for pac.

this poll too easy mayweather has it all. refined and developed all the optimized ways, from early on only the smartest slickest tacticians advise him plus natural predisposition, he added his own adjustments so this guy is well off not just for this generation, but overall.

Thing with sluggers, especially those with great footwork, is that it's hard to close the distance to get inside and stay in the pocket for a sustained period. Cotto did a few times, but as he did with Margarito, Pac slipped it by using a hook-duck-slide move. It would take a greater ring general than Pac has ever faced to keep him from using that manuver.

definitely Pacquiao. Floyd can't go toe to toe like Pac can. Pac can go toe to toe, he can swarm, he can step back and counter, he can potshot, he can just let off 1000 punches and outwork his opponent... he can win in so many different ways. Floyd is versatile too but not like Pac.

Pimp, I would ask you to try and give examples next time, rather then just use this typical tired ol line you and other use OVER AND OVER AND OVER, but I know that'll be futile.

"If you don't think my way, you don't know the sport"....Jeez...:patsch

Nice to see reasons why one picks one over the other. :thumbsup

@the die hard *******s, you could ask them 'who hits harder, Vitali or Pacquiao' and they'd still say Pacquiao.
